Filters enable you to view dashboard data by selecting assessment type, assessment date range, country, and overall score range. Below is a description of each filter. Filters also play a crucial role in ensuring data privacy and usability by allowing users to narrow down data to specific timeframes or criteria, which helps in retrieving relevant information efficiently.
Dashboard Filter Options
Assessment Type
Choose between TOEFL iBT® scores or TOEFL® Essentials™ scores.
Report Date
Report Date refers to the date that ETS sent TOEFL scores to your institution.
If the TOEFL taker selected your institution to receive a score report before taking the test, the report date will reflect the date the scores were made available to your institution.
If the TOEFL taker requested the score report after taking the test, the report date will be the date of the request. In this case, the report date could be several months after the applicant's test date.
Enter the date range manually (MM/DD/YYYY-MM/DD/YYYY) or select the date range by clicking the calendar icon.
Region
Country: Use the dropdown menu to select a country. You can also:
Click Select All to select all countries.
Click Clear All to remove all applied filters.
Score Range
Filter by overall score range. Specify desired score range by using one of the following methods:
Type the range into the text entry fields.
Use the up and down arrows located to the right of the text entry field.
Adjust the slider below the score range fields.
Dashboard Filter Considerations
The TOEFL Access dashboard includes privacy guardrails to ensure data security. If the number of applicants in a selected date range falls below a minimum threshold, the data will not be displayed. To view trends when data is not displayed:
Expand the date range (e.g., to more than one year) to include more applicants.
Use other sections of the platform, such as the Applicants section, to access individual records.
