Update Your Profile and Institution Settings

Personalize your TOEFL Access experience by keeping your profile, including your email preferences, and institutional information up to date.

Update your information

To update your information:

  • Select the profile picture icon in the top right corner of the screen.

  • From the drop-down menu, choose My Profile to update personal details or Institution Settings to manage institutional information.

  • To make changes, select Edit (see Personal Details and Institution Settings screenshots below).

  • Finished? Select Save to apply your updates or Cancel to discard them (see Email Preferences screenshot below).

Select the Personal Details tab to view and change the following:

  • Profile picture

  • Name and job title

  • Institutional affiliation and role

  • Contact details (address, phone number, email)

  • Password

Select the Email Preferences tab to manage communication, including:

  • Notifications about user access requests

  • Alerts for downloadable PDF score reports

  • Updates on new and/or cancelled score reports

  • Marketing communications from ETS

Institution Settings Page

Administrators can navigate to the Institution Settings page to modify institutional information such as:

  • Institution logo and banner

  • Institution type and founding year

  • Website and contact details (address, phone number, fax number, email)

  • Administrator’s name

Additionally, administrators have the option chose whether to show or hide MyBest® Scores on all applicant score reports by selecting or deselecting the box next to MyBest Scores.
